So, I’ve been playing with Ubuntu Linux for some months now and I’m really impressed with the distro. It’s finally becoming a Windows killer. These two photographs were edited with a commercial but free port of Lightzone 2.4. Lightzone is a marvelous photo editor based on photographers actual experience of image editing. And using a paradigm very similar to Ansel Adam’s Zone system. Only one thing left and that’s audio recording apps. Once those become really workable in Linux I will never look back!
